Steve Seabold
President
As President of Seabold Construction Co., Inc,
Steve serves as Principal in
Charge in each project phase.
Prior to co-founding Seabold
Construction, Steve began his construction career in 1973 as a
laborer with Moran Construction Co. He steadily advanced within the
company and became Vice President of the Pacific Northwest Division
in 1982 and was directly responsible for the administration and
project development of several projects.
Steve’s construction career spans
more than 30 years and includes experience in commercial,
industrial, retail, multi-family and senior independent living
facilities in the private and public sectors. He has managed all
stages of construction including project development, estimating,
scheduling, and project management.
Steve studied architecture at the
University of Oregon and received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from Portland State University in 1977.

Harry Seabold
Vice President
As Vice
President/Secretary/Treasurer, Harry maintains the daily involvement
of the project manager, superintendent, and work crews to ensure
steady workflow, upholding schedules, and exercising quality
control.
Harry’s
construction career spans more than 25 years and includes new and
renovation experience in commercial, industrial, retail,
multifamily, and independent senior living facilities in both the
private and public sectors.
Harry has
managed all stages of projects including project development,
estimating, scheduling, and project management.

In addition to Steve and Harry’s
extensive construction backgrounds and experience, they have 20
years of development experience in senior housing throughout
Oregon. The following is a list of projects they have
co-developed, built, and managed.
Ø
Cornell Estates
Living Center – Cornell
Estates is a 160 unit senior facility located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
It consists of 100 retirement units and 60 assisted living units.
This project was co-developed with Campbell Homes and is currently
managed by Harry and Steve Seabold.
Ø
Rosewood Park
Retirement & Assisted Living Facility
– Rosewood Park is a senior facility also located in
Hillsboro, Oregon and consists of 84 retirement units and 82
assisted living units. This project was also co-developed with
Campbell Homes and is currently managed by Harry and Steve Seabold.
Ø
Avamere Bethany
– Avamere Bethany is a 71 unit assisted living facility with 26 beds
of Alzheimer’s memory care. This project was
co-developed with Avamere Health Services and is currently managed
by Avamere.
Ø Rosewood
Specialty Care – Rosewood
Specialty Care is a 48 bed memory care facility originally managed
by Harry and Steve Seabold. Currently they own a 50% interest in
the facility and have turned over management duties to Frontier
Management.

Washington
Gardens
– Washington Gardens is a 48 bed memory care facility located in
Washington County. The facility is similar to Rosewood Specialty
Care in terms of size and amenities. Harry and Steve Seabold are
co-developing this facility with JW Ekberg & Associates and Frontier
Management.
Ø
Canyon Valley Memory
Care – A 51 bed memory care facility, located in Green Valley, AZ. The
facility is similar to Washington Gardens in terms of size and
amenities. Harry and SteveI are co-developing this facility with JW
Ekberg & Associates. This project is scheduled to be completed
9//2010 and Steve and Harry’s ownership will be 50% in this
facility.

Larry Didway
Director of Project Development
Larry brings strong project management skills and will guide the overall
project through design development and construction and is the
primary point of contact for owners.
After joining Seabold in 1987 as a project supervisor
on a variety of construction projects both public and private, he
was promoted to Project Manager in
1991 and assigned to estimate,
manage, and supervise several projects for clients such as U.S.
Bancorp, Tektronix, Inc. and Freightliner Corporation (now known as
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC).
Larry’s
40 plus years employed
in the construction industry has steadily advanced him to his
present position as Director of Project Development where he begins
with initial pre-construction development, estimate review,
scheduling, subcontract bids, and value engineering, He coordinates
and maintains day-to-day management of field and office staff of the
Seabold team, reviews monthly job cost reports and budgets, and
is the direct tie to the Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and
Project Engineer. Additionally, he attends weekly on-site project meetings, when
applicable.

Jon DeGroote
Director of Field Operations
Jon has been with Seabold Construction Co., Inc. since
1987. Prior to joining our team, Jon had his own residential and
commercial general contracting company in Hermiston, Oregon and
attended Washington State University. He served a term as President of the
NE Oregon Home Builders and two terms as the National Director of
Oregon Home Builders.
With over 40 years of construction experience,
Jon has extensive knowledge of contractor
requirements and construction materials along with all aspects of
residential and commercial construction practices for privately and
publicly funded projects.
As Director
of Field Operations, Jon oversees all superintendents and field
personnel; he schedules all manpower and also oversees all warranty
and maintenance issues for completed projects. Additionally, he
reviews the design for construction feasibility, value engineering
ideas, and prepares construction planning, scheduling, and staging
strategies. Jon is responsible for all construction work onsite and
participates in weekly project meetings. He maintains daily job
reports and works directly with the Project Manager and the
Superintendent to keep abreast of all aspects of jobsite progress.
He has a “no-nonsense” approach and commands the utmost
participation and coordination from all of our subcontractors and
vendors to achieve minimum disruption to complete project
objectives. |

Bob Willyerd
Senior Project Manager
Beginning his construction career in 1970, Bob worked for his father's
construction company, which developed his diverse experience in the
industry.
Bob
came on board with Seabold in 1995 and brings strong project
management skills; having worked under a variety of building
challenges and situations. His attention to detail and proficiency
working on public projects [Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and
Rural Development (RD)] has rewarded us with repeat clients and
recommendations for future work.
Acting as a project manager, superintendent, and owner’s
representative, Bob has an extensive understanding of the
construction industry, is a team player, and has worked with many
clients during the design and preconstruction phases of projects;
developing a clear understanding of the owner’s needs and how to
successfully translate those needs to subcontractors and vendors to
produce successful projects.
As a project manager for Seabold since 1999, Bob has
been successful in cost management during construction to limit
additional costs to owners and has brought past projects to
completion on time and within budget.

Nathan LacQuaye
Lead Estimator
Nathan joined Seabold Construction in
March of 2002 with five years of hands-on construction experience,
which included framing, general carpentry, concrete footing
construction, and general labor. After working onsite, Nathan moved
into the office to provide assistance to our Lead Project
Estimator. With Nathan’s knack for learning quickly
and his eagerness to progress in the industry, in 2008 HE became the
Lead Estimator.
Nathan is the primary contact for
subcontractors and vendors during the pre-bid and bidding processes,
is quite familiar with project requirements for both public and
private entities, and is well-versed in prevailing wage rates, rules,
and regulations as they may apply.
Working closely with Larry Didway, Nathan provides take offs and
estimating utilizing Onscreen Takeoff, a
construction industry software program designed to create takeoffs
from paper plans and calculate accurate results for complicated
figures with a calculator directly onto our computer.
Nathan sends “Invitations to Bid” to a
variety of agencies who assist in locating subcontractors, and he
monitors all logs to subcontractors and vendors; especially
minorities and emerging small business entities. He then processes
and completes budgets and estimates and compiles primary
construction schedule matrixes.

Debbie McVicker
Accounting Manager
Debbie arrived at Seabold
Construction in December of 1990 with previous work experience for
an insulation contractor. During her tenure, she developed and
implemented a computerized bookkeeping and job cost system.
Debbie
analyzes work in progress reports and follows budgeting processes
throughout project duration. She monitors committed costs and tracks
changes, on a monthly basis, as part of the process of producing
monthly financial statements. This close monitoring of job cost aids
in preparation of monthly billings to Owners, which Debbie produces with AIA and supporting
draw documents for submission to Owner.
Debbie’s exceptional accounting and
recordkeeping skills have kept the results of annual audits to a
near zero effect for Public projects, and her strong organization
and ability to handle all levels of accounting tasks are key to
Seabold’s solid business foundation.

Cara
Lukens
Office Manager/Project
Coordinator
Arriving at Seabold in 2002 with an AS Degree in Administrative
Office Management and 17 years of diverse administrative
experiences,
Cara is
the key contact and manager for subcontractor
prequalification requirements. Once approved, she keeps
subcontractor/vendor
records and in-house databases up-to-date, including certified MBE/WBE/DBE/ESB
contact information.
As
Administrator of Certified Payroll and Workforce Training for public
projects and projects requiring apprenticeship tracking, Cara works
directly with various Compliance Specialists from Housing and Urban
Development’s (HUD) Office of Labor Relations, Rural Development
(RD), the State of Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI),
Labor and Industries (LNI) for the State of Washington, and with the
Portland Development Commission (PDC), as well as other City and
County agencies to ensure total compliance with all reporting
practices and specifications.
Additionally, Cara assists Debbie McVicker, Accounting Manager with
Accounts Receivables/Payables and is the primary office contact.

Christa
Griffiths
Contracts Manager/Project Engineer
Christa came to Seabold
Construction Co., Inc. in 2004 with over ten years of construction
administration experience with an emphasis on purchasing and contract
management for projects in the public as well as private arenas; ranging
from $50,000 to $70 million including work with the University of
Washington.
Christa’s primary duties
include contract preparation, reconciliation of proposals and change orders
affecting budget changes, document management, and cost reporting.
Additionally, she assists the Lead Estimator and the Director of Project
Development during the bidding process and is the primary monitor for value
engineering, scheduling, budget updating, and overall document control.
Christa provides ongoing
support to Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the duration of
the project by providing updated pricing for changes and alterations, which
may occur. She acquires, processes, and logs all product submittals for our
projects, and is in charge of producing the contract close out Operations
and Maintenance manuals for owners and their maintenance personnel.
